
Yes, Pluto has five known moons, and the largest one is called Charon. Charon is so big compared to Pluto that some scientists describe them as a kind of double system. The other moons are much smaller but still part of this unique planetary setup. Pluto also has a very thin atmosphere made mostly of nitrogen, along with methane and carbon monoxide. This atmosphere behaves in an unusual way because it can freeze and fall back to the surface as Pluto moves farther from the Sun. When Pluto gets closer to the Sun, the frozen gases can turn back into gas again. These changes make Pluto a surprisingly dynamic and interesting world despite its small size.
