The capital of Alaska is Juneau, which is located in the southeastern part of the state. Interestingly, Juneau is not connected by road to the rest of Alaska, so you can only get there by plane or boat. The largest city in Alaska is Anchorage, which has the biggest population in the state. Anchorage is a major center for business, transportation, and tourism. Most of Alaska’s residents live in or near Anchorage. Juneau, on the other hand, is known for government and historical sites. Both cities have beautiful natural surroundings with mountains and water nearby. They offer very different experiences despite being in the same state. Together, they represent Alaska’s unique geography and lifestyle.
