PSG is currently owned mainly by Qatar Sports Investments, often called QSI. This group took over the club in 2011 and transformed it financially and competitively. Before that, the club had different owners, including Canal+ and Colony Capital. QSI is backed by the Qatari government, which has invested heavily in the team. A smaller share of the club is owned by Arctos Partners. The club’s president is Nasser Al-Khelaifi, a key figure in global football. This ownership has helped PSG become one of the richest clubs in the world.
